To the Most Wonderful Family,

I know this is late....sorry.     The days blur together and I forgot it was conference weekend.

PLEASE PREPARE YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN FOR CONFERENCE.    They have so many ways to make it interesting for kids....for one session or maybe two.   I wanted to send some ideas but I couldn't get the link to email to you.    

But also, prepare yourself for conference.   Please listen to conference with at least one question or concern you would like help with.    That makes conference so much more meaningful and helpful 

We are focused on the Church Easter initiative ,"Because He Lives", in our mission.   We are trying to share the video and website, but so few of the people we see have internet.    Very few in the townships have smartphones...but some do.     The elders try to take the smart phone from the person and go to the video and then hand back the phone so they can watch it.    I am not afraid to grab the phone but I am not fast enough to find the video before they call the police.  

Please share the true meaning of Easter with your kids.   Hopefully the Easter bunny can come Saturday and the egg hunts be on Saturday.

Today was District Meetings for every district (2) in our zone.   We met at the same chapel but in different rooms.    We got there early and I hid 40 chocolate eggs and 10 bags of Easter Candy in the classrooms and kitchen of the church.    I really put them in difficult places.   Then before the training we had an egg hunt.    Each elder could take 4 big chocolate eggs and 1 bag of candy and then they had to quit looking so every elder got the same amount.    I had to look hard for Easter candy around here......none of it was exactly like the stuff at home, but it was fairly close.   Larry said the jelly beans were OK.     We looked in 4 cities for jelly beans.

The elders really "got into" the hunt and had fun.
